The financial policies of Journal of Sports Medicine and Therapy are designed to ensure fairness, transparency, and ethical financial practices while safeguarding both the interests of the authors and the integrity of the journal. We strive to provide a seamless and professional publishing experience.

Once an author has completed the payment for the Article Processing Charges (APCs), the fee is deemed non-refundable. If an author voluntarily withdraws a submitted manuscript after making the payment or retracts after making an advance payment but before finalizing the full amount, a refund will not be processed.

The editorial and production process begins as soon as a manuscript is submitted, including activities such as initial screening, peer review coordination, formatting, and editorial assistance. As these processes require considerable time and resources, refunds cannot be granted once the work has commenced.

However, in exceptional cases such as duplicate payments, technical issues causing overcharges, or errors in transaction processing, a refund request may be considered. Such requests must be formally submitted in writing, along with proof of payment, and will be reviewed by the Editorial Board before a final decision is made.

Authors are strongly advised to carefully review all payment details and terms before proceeding with any transactions to avoid potential inconveniences. Journal of Sports Medicine and Therapy remains committed to providing a fair and professional publishing experience while maintaining ethical financial policies.
